Icelandic tourism on the road in Paris and Milan 

Business Iceland, in cooperation with Visit Denmark, Visit Finland, and Visit Norway, organized a workshop in Paris on March 19 for Icelandic tourism companies. Altogether, 40 Nordic tourism companies participated in the workshop, with nine of them from Iceland. The event went well, with seven hundred meetings registered with 81 buyers from French tourism companies who wanted to connect with Nordic companies.

Two days later, Business Iceland participated in a workshop in Milan on March 21, along with ten Icelandic companies. The workshop was successful, and 54 tourism companies from the Nordic countries participated in this event. Over 1,500 meetings took place with 90 buyers from Italian companies on-site. Business Iceland held the event with Visit Denmark, Visit Finland, Visit Norway, and Gateway South. At both locations, the Icelandic companies BusTravel Iceland, GoNorth Travel, Hey Iceland, Hótel Klaustur, Icelandair, Icelandia, Iceland Travel, Laugavatn Fontana, and Snæland Travel participated, along with Travelling Iceland in Milan.

Business Iceland is looking ahead to the workshops and exhibitions for 2024, which promise to further enhance the visibility of Icelandic tourism.
