Íslandsstofu berst töluvert af fyrirspurnum erlendis frá, bæði í tölvupósti og bréfleiðis, auk þess sem starfsmenn Íslandsstofu fá jafnan margvíslegar spurningar á vörusýningum erlendis. Nokkuð berst einnig af óskum um samstarf við íslensk fyrirtæki í gagnagrunn Business Cooperation Database sem starfræktur er af Enterprise Europe Network. Þar geta íslensk fyrirtæki einnig komið á framfæri samstarfsóskum við fyrirtæki erlendis.
